Ahh, it's my appointed my role model. Those were heady times BD. At 95 years young, I've traveled a long, hard road, with not much to show for it except those R2R tapes and the fond memories of Grateful Dead shows, particularly that time I saw Pig pass out on stage from boozing too hard. After I finish I my next cook, I plan to put forth the "hundreds of hours" it will take to transfer the recording. But of course, it has to be "on my terms" (meaning, if the tapes DO exist, I have to wait for a friend to get them to me :P)

Anyway, Spring '81 is one of the periods of '80s GD that I enjoy most.

somebody should link that late night clip (i think lettermen) here where Jer says something like "well dave, i've lived alot longer than bobby over that time" in responding to a you have'nt aged as well as bobby jer - it was classic
